Status of Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh second test match
Talking about the second test, Sri Lanka had set a target of 511 runs to win against Bangladesh. Bangladesh team was all out for 318 runs with the help of half-centuries from Mominul Haq (50) and Miraj. Let us tell you that Sri Lanka had won by 328 runs in the first test match played in Sylhet.
Sri Lanka had taken a big lead by scoring 531 runs in the first innings of the second test. In the first innings of this Test, six of the top seven batsmen of Sri Lanka scored half-centuries. In reply, Bangladesh team could score only 178 runs in the first innings. After this, Sri Lanka declared its second innings at 157-7 and set a big target for Bangladesh.
Bangladesh improved their batting in the second innings, however, it was not enough to win the match. Mominul Haq scored 50 runs in 56 balls, while Mehdi Hasan Miraj remained unbeaten on 81 runs. However, the hosts were all out for 318 runs, eventually losing the match by 192 runs.
