Indian team performed brilliantly in the Perth Test match.
The first match of the five-match Test series between Australia and India is being played in Perth. A funny incident happened on the fourth day of the test match and its video is now going viral on social media. Actually, Indian bowler Harshit Rana had to take an oath in front of his captain Jasprit Bumrah to take DRS (Decision Review System).
Harshit Rana bowled well against Steve Smith and while flicking a ball, it hit him straight on the pad. Harshit felt that the ball had hit him in front, but the ball was missing the leg stump. Although DRS was taken during this period, the Indian team did not get the benefit of it. Harshit Rana had told Bumrah that I swear brother the ball has hit me.
Funny video of Harshit Rana and Jasprit Bumrah went viral
Harshit Rana came to bowl the 17th over for India in the second innings. He almost dismissed Steve Smith on the first ball. A ball from Harshit Rana stayed down and hit Steve Smith’s pad. Smith had missed the flick. On this, Harshit and the entire team appealed strongly, but the umpire did not give Smith out. After this, Harshit Rana somehow convinced his captain Jasprit Bumrah for DRS. For this Rana even had to take an oath.
Actually, before taking DRS, Harshit Rana looked at Bumrah and said that brother is in front. Both the legs were joined. On this Virat also said that it is in front. It is installed here. Whereas Jasprit Bumrah told that the ball is going out, then again Harshit Rana said that I swear brother is in front.
After this Bumrah indicated DRS. The third umpire checked all the angles, checked the ultra edge and then found from ball tracking that the ball was going missing the leg stump. In such a situation, Smith was not out and India also lost a review. Talking about the match, India has dismissed Australia by 7 wickets in the second innings and they need just three more wickets to win the match.
