India restricted the visiting team to 319 runs.

On the morning of the third day, India defeated England quickly, taking wickets at regular intervals. The visiting team was all out for just 319 runs. In this way India achieved a huge lead of 126 runs. Captain Ben Stokes tried to handle the English innings, but he failed. He was out after scoring 41 runs. The lower order batsmen could not do anything special.
