The second match of the two unofficial Test match series between India A vs Australia A is being played in Melbourne. Since the Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) is to be played after the end of this series, keeping that in mind, KL Rahul and Dhruv Jurel were given a chance in the second match of the series. Dhruv Jurel impressed everyone by scoring 80 runs in the first innings, but KL Rahul’s flop show continues.

After the first innings, KL Rahul has flopped badly in the second innings also. His disappointing performance has increased the tension of India A as well as head coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Rohit Sharma. KL Rahul was out in a very strange manner in the second innings against Australia A. Looking at his batting, it seems that after reaching Australia, his confidence along with his form has also decreased.

Talking about this match, Team India, which came to bat first after losing the toss, scored only 161 runs in the first innings. Out of these 161 runs, 80 came from Jurel’s bat. Apart from Jurel, no batsman could even touch the 30-run mark in the first innings. Australia scored 223 runs in its first innings and took a lead of 62 runs.

After this, the flop show of Team India’s batsmen continued in the second innings also. Abhimanyu Easwaran, who scored a mountain of runs in domestic first class cricket, flopped in the second innings as well. By the end of the second day’s play, the Indian team had lost five wickets till the score was 73. Currently Dhruv Jurel and Nitish Reddy are present at the crease.
