Shubman Gill met his best friend Abhishek Sharma and his family after the SRH vs GT match was cancelled.
In IPL 2024, the match on May 16 was going to be played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. But, due to rain, the match was abandoned without a single ball being bowled, after which both the teams got 1-1 points.
After the cancellation of the match, a special incident happened in the stadium, which is winning the hearts of fans on social media. Actually, Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill met his best friend Abhishek Sharma and his family, the video of which is going viral.
There is a very deep friendship between Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill.
Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma are very good friends, both play domestic cricket for Punjab. He was also a part of the Under-19 World Cup winning team in 2018. When Shubman and Abhishek met after the match was cancelled, both of them hugged each other lovingly.

Abhishek Sharma then took Gill to meet his family. Shubman Gill touched the feet of Abhishek’s mother and took blessings. After which Abhishek was also seen taking a picture of Shubhman Gill and sister Komal together.

Gujarat Titans could not qualify for playoffs this season
Gujarat Titans were out of the race for the playoffs after the match against Kolkata Knight Riders in Ahmedabad was cancelled.
