Virat Kohli played an unbeaten inning of 100 runs in the second innings of Perth Test.
The first Test match between Australia and India under the Border-Gavaskar Trophy is being played in Perth from 22 November. In the second innings, the bat of Indian veteran batsman Virat Kohli roared fiercely. Showing excellent form, he scored his 81st international century against Australia.
Virat has become the player who has scored the most centuries among the active players. This is the 30th Test century of Virat’s career and 9th century against Australia. Virat Kohli celebrated in style after scoring a century in Perth. He gave a Flying Kiss to his wife Anushka Sharma, the video of which is going viral on social media.
Virat celebrated in a special way
Virat Kohli completed his century by hitting a four on the third ball of the 135th over of the second innings. Initially Virat did not realize that he had completed his century. Then after some time he picked up his bat and thanked the fans. Kohli then celebrated in a special way by giving a flying kiss to his wife Anushka Sharma. Anushka also jumped with joy after seeing Virat’s century.

Virat Kohli was seen struggling with form for some time. In the last Test series against Bangladesh and New Zealand, nothing special was seen with his bat. He had scored 250 runs in the last 6 Test matches at an average of 22.72, which included one half-century. Virat has made his intentions clear by scoring a century in the first test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Australia got the target of 534 runs
Host Australia had bundled out India for 150 runs in the first innings, but then the team made a brilliant comeback in the second innings. India declared the second innings at 487 runs and Australia has got a target of 534 runs to win. In the second innings, Yashasvi Jaiswal played the highest innings of 161 runs in 297 balls for India. At the same time, Virat Kohli played an unbeaten inning of 100 runs in 143 balls. KL Rahul scored 77 runs in 176 balls and Nitish Kumar Reddy scored 38 not out.
