Border-Gavaskar series starting from 22nd November
The Indian team is going to face Australia very soon in the much-awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) test series. It is noteworthy that the first test match between the two teams will be played on November 22 at Optus Stadium in Perth.
However, this series is not going to be easy for India, because recently India had to face 3-0 defeat in the Test series against New Zealand in India. So, if Team India has to perform well against Australia, then the team’s star players Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant will have to perform at any cost.
On the other hand, before the start of this much-awaited series, Team India’s former all-rounder and T20 World Cup champion player Irfan Pathan has given a big reaction. Irfan has said that Virat Kohli is going to perform well in this series, and he has given two reasons for this.
Let us tell you that before the start of BGT, Irrfan has shared a post on his official X account. In this post Irfan said- I believe that Virat Kohli will perform excellently in Australia. Second- Kohli avoids energy and big challenges. The Australian team will attack it hard and there is no bigger challenge for Australia than playing a Test on its soil. This is the time when Kohli’s competitive spirit really shines.
