Hardik Pandya is in dangerous form in SMAT 2024

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya is playing brilliantly for Baroda in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) 2024. In the last match against Kerala, he played an explosive inning of 47 runs in 23 balls with 3 fours and 5 sixes. Due to Hardik’s innings, Baroda chased the target of 110 runs with 52 balls remaining and won by 7 wickets.

Earlier, in the match against Tamil Nadu, Hardik Pandya won the match by playing a brilliant inning of 69 runs with the help of 4 fours and 7 sixes in 30 balls. It was because of Hardik that Baroda chased the target of 222 runs in 20 overs. Baroda’s team is at first place in the Group-B points table with 16 points after winning all four matches.

Hardik-Krunal will play against each other in IPL

Hardik Pandya will be seen captaining Mumbai Indians (MI) in IPL 2025. The franchise had retained him for Rs 16.35 crore before the mega auction. Mumbai’s performance under Hardik’s captaincy last season was disappointing, with the five-time champions winning only 4 out of 14 matches and finishing at the bottom of the points table.

At the same time, Krunal Pandya was bought in the auction by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 5.75 crore. He was a part of Lucknow Super Giants for the last three years.
