Romario Shepherd said that he has always remained grounded because his childhood was full of struggle. He also said that the roads in Barakara were not paved and many children had to go to school barefoot and the means of transportation there was a river.
Romario Shepherd told ESPNcricinfo, ‘I have always been simple because I know where I have come from. I know that coming from where I come from, one has to face a lot of difficulties. In 2021 I shared the story of my life. We never went to school wearing shoes. 99% of children never went to school with shoes on their feet.
In Barakara you never went to school wearing shoes because most of the time you had to go to school with the help of a boat. There is a very big river there and due to this many people have to go from one place to another with the help of boat. There are no paved roads there but mud roads.

But this will be the first time in an official match. Shamar Joseph bowls very fast and I have to keep that in mind. If Joseph gets me out, he will tell me about it the whole day and laugh at me, so I will try to ensure that he does not get me out.
