Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh performed brilliantly in the second T20 against Afghanistan in Indore, taking three wickets. Consistency has been a big problem for him, but he has bowled well in the ongoing series. He will be expected to perform well in the third T20 also. This T20 match will be the last match for India before the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Arshdeep Singh had destroyed the middle order of the opposition team in the last match by taking the wickets of Najibullah Zadran, Karim Janat and Noor Ahmed. Due to which India restricted the visiting team to a score of 172 runs and ultimately won by 6 wickets.

Meanwhile, while talking about his role, Arshdeep Singh said that when things are clear from the team management, it becomes easier. He said that once players are told about their roles, they perform well.

Arshdeep was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times, the roles of the players are defined. As a bowler you know that you have to bowl in the beginning and middle overs. When there is clarity, you perform well.

Arshdeep Singh further said, the last 12 months have been a mixed bag in terms of experience. There were good performances in some matches and I got to learn something new. There were some ups and downs, due to which my performance became neutral.

He also said that, recently I have started bowling with the new ball, especially on slow wickets. In the last match, I tried some variations, especially against left-handed batsmen, and it worked and gave me some confidence. I am trying to improve my skills.
