After the victory of Sri Lanka’s women’s cricket team in the Women’s Asia Cup final, captain Chamari Athapaththu was seen getting emotional after seeing her ailing mother. Also, the video of this incident is rapidly going viral on social media.
It is worth noting that the final match of the Women’s Asia Cup 2024 was played yesterday on 28 July between the women’s cricket teams of India and Sri Lanka (INDW vs SLW) at the Dambulla International Cricket Stadium in Rangiri.
