WPL 2024 Orange and Purple Cap Update: The 7th match of the Women’s Premier League 2024 was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals. Bangalore captain Smriti Mandhana won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Delhi Capitals put 194 runs on the board at the loss of 5 wickets. Shefali Verma played the highest innings of 50 runs for the team with the help of 3 fours and 4 sixes in 31 balls.

While Alice Capsey (46), Marijanne Kapp (32) and Jess Jonassen (36) made important contributions. Sophie Devine and Nadine de Klerk took 2-2 wickets for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Royal Challengers Bangalore got off to a great start while chasing the target. There was a partnership of 77 runs for the first wicket between Smriti Mandhana and Sophie Devine.
