Mumbai Indians captain Nat Siver Brunt won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 131 runs on the board at the loss of 6 wickets. Ellis Perry played an unbeaten inning of 44 runs in 38 balls with the help of 5 fours.
