Now the second edition will be played in Bengaluru and Delhi. The first 11 matches of the tournament will be played in Bengaluru. After this, all five teams will come to Delhi, where the final match including an eliminator will be played. 20 matches will be played in the league round and after this the eliminator and final matches will be played.
The team topping the league round will directly advance to the finals. Whereas, the second and third placed teams will play eliminator. Not a single double header match will be played in this tournament lasting 24 days. There will be only one match every day. The eliminator will be played on March 15 and the final on March 17 in Delhi.
All these matches will start at 7:30 pm according to Indian time. Talking about the first edition, under the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur, Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals by 7 wickets in the final.
