The 19th match of IPL 2024 was played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. In this match, Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore were face to face. In which Rajasthan defeated RCB by 6 wickets and registered its fourth consecutive win of this season. Batting first after losing the toss, RCB scored 183 runs for 3 wickets on the basis of Virat Kohli’s unbeaten century. Thanks to a brilliant unbeaten century by opener Jos Buttler, Rajasthan defeated RCB by six wickets. Butler had scored unbeaten 100 runs with the help of 9 fours and 4 sixes in 58 balls. While this is Rajasthan’s fourth consecutive win in this tournament, it is RCB’s hat-trick of defeats.
Rajasthan Royals won the toss and decided to bowl first. Kohli made a strong opening partnership of 125 runs with Faf du Plessis. Faf du Plessis played an inning of 44 runs but missed the half-century. However, former captain Kohli was present at the crease and took the team to a big score by scoring not only a half-century but also a century. Kohli took RCB to a total of 183/3 in 20 overs, remaining unbeaten on 113. Kohli’s innings was brilliant, he remained at the crease from beginning to end and played an unbeaten inning of 113 runs in 72 balls. In this innings, 12 fours and 4 sixes came from Virat’s bat.
