Zimbabwe’s shameful defeat by 99 runs, Pakistan captured another series under the captaincy of Rizwan.


Chasing a target of 304 runs in the third ODI, Zimbabwe was all out for 204 runs in 40.1 overs.

ZIM vs PAK: The last match of the three-match ODI series between Zimbabwe and Pakistan was played on 28 November at the Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo. After winning the toss and batting first, Pakistan scored 303 runs on the board at the loss of 6 wickets. In response, the host team was reduced to 204 runs in 40.1 overs.

Pakistan registered a spectacular victory by 99 runs and captured the series 2-1. Kamran Ghulam won the title of Player of the Match by scoring a century and taking one wicket. Whereas, Sam Ayub won the Player of the Series award.

Kamran Ghulam hits maiden ODI century

Batting first against Zimbabwe, Pakistan got a good start. There was a partnership of 58 runs for the first wicket between Sam Ayub and Abdullah Shafiq. Sam Ayub scored 31 runs in 37 balls and Abdullah Shafiq scored 50 runs in 68 balls. Kamran Ghulam played brilliantly and scored his first ODI century against Zimbabwe. He played a brilliant inning of 103 runs in 99 balls with the help of 10 fours and 4 sixes.

Due to the contributions of captain Mohammad Rizwan (37), Salman Ali Aga (30) and Tayyab Tahir (29), Pakistan put a total of 303 on the board. For Zimbabwe, Sikandar Raza and Richard Ngarwa took maximum 2-2 wickets. At the same time, Blessing Muzarabani and Faraz Akram took 1-1 wicket.

Pakistan bowled brilliantly

For Zimbabwe, captain Craig Erwin scored the highest innings of 51 runs in 63 balls with the help of 5 fours and one six. Whereas, Brian Bennett scored 37 runs in 27 balls. Apart from these two, no batsman could add much runs for the team. For Pakistan, Haris Rauf took two wickets for 34 runs in 7.1 overs. Sam Ayub, Abrar Ahmed, and Aamir Jamal also took 2-2 wickets each. At the same time, Faisal Akram and Kamran Ghulam also took 1 wicket each.
