So, after batting brilliantly in the match, during mid-innings, Ruturaj Gaikwad said- It was quite tough, the first 15 balls I played, not a single ball hit the middle of my bat. The wicket was a bit difficult for batting, but Abhishek and I talked that we should take our time and then go for our shots and it worked for us.
Also, regarding Abhishek, who scored a century in his second match, Gaikwad said- He faced the spinners very well. We talked about maintaining our shape while playing our shots, the wicket was reacting in two ways, sometimes the ball would stop and sometimes it would get stuck. We needed to stick to the length of the Test match.
On the other hand, after this victory, the Indian cricket team has equaled the ongoing T20 series 1-1. After this victory, the third T20 match between the two teams will be played on this ground.
