After Team India became the champion, Hardik Pandya’s tears said a lot. The phase he went through in the last few months was very difficult. But despite those adverse circumstances, he performed brilliantly in the final against South Africa and played an important role in the team’s victory.

He was the vice-captain of the Indian team during the tournament and Rohit Sharma entrusted him with the responsibility of bowling the last over. He successfully defended 16 runs. The way he was seen crying after the victory showed how much this victory meant to him.

Hardik took the wicket of Klaasen

After Klaasen’s wicket, Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh bowled economically in the last overs of their respective spells and the match tilted towards India. After the win, he shared a clip from his childhood days in Baroda. In this video clip, young Hardik is sharing his and his brother Krunal Pandya’s dream of playing for Baroda as well as India.
