Actually, the Board of Control for Cricket in India believes that they will not tour Pakistan for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025. The International Cricket Council has appealed to the PCB itself to agree to the hybrid model so that Team India can play its matches in the United Arab Emirates. According to the report of Sports Tak, if Pakistan Cricket Board does not agree to the hybrid model, then this entire tournament will be shifted to South Africa.

On November 10, the Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed that they had received an email from the ICC in which India has been refused permission to tour Pakistan to participate in the upcoming tournament. India will participate in this tournament only if their matches are held outside Pakistan in a hybrid model. Not only this, ICC has also said that Pakistan Cricket Board will get the full hosting fees under the hybrid model and most of the matches will be played there.
