Batting first, Bangladesh scored 244 runs losing 8 wickets in 50 overs.
Currently, the third and final ODI match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan is being played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah. In this match, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first.
During the match, Afghanistan’s young player Nangyal Kharoti did brilliant fielding and ran out Zakir Hasan of Bangladesh. His fielding is being praised a lot on social media. On behalf of the team, experienced batsman Mahmudullah batted brilliantly and played a stormy innings of 98 runs. Mahmudullah did not spare any bowler of Afghanistan during his innings and took his team to a respectable score.
Apart from Mahmudullah, Mehdi Hasan Miraj played a valuable inning of 66 runs. Both of them also made a brilliant partnership of 145 runs for the fifth wicket. Soumya Sarkar scored 24 runs. For Afghanistan, Azmatullah Omarzai took four wickets for 37 runs in seven overs. If Afghanistan wants to win this match and series, then they will have to score 245 runs in 50 overs.
