Indian team’s best player KL Rahul today i.e. on 27th November thanked his old IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants and their fans in a special way. Let us tell you that recently the mega auction of Indian Premier League 2025 was organized. In this mega auction, KL Rahul was included in their team by Delhi Capitals for Rs 14 crore.

Earlier, Rahul has been seen playing for Lucknow Super Giants and he has performed very well for this franchise. Under the captaincy of KL Rahul in the Indian Premier League, the performance of the Lucknow team was very poor and they could not make their place in the playoffs of this important tournament. After the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, KL Rahul and Lucknow franchise owner Sanjiv Goenka were seen having a serious conversation about something.

Sanjiv Goenka was not happy with the captaincy of KL Rahul and that is why he released the Indian player before the upcoming season. KL Rahul scored 520 runs in 14 matches for Lucknow Super Giants in the 2024 season at a strike rate above 136, while in the 2023 season, he scored 274 runs in 9 matches at an average of 34.25 for the same franchise. Rahul’s performance in IPL 2022 was tremendous for Lucknow and he scored 616 runs in 15 matches at an average of 51.33 and strike rate of 135.38.
