WTC Points Table 2023-25: Team India has started its home season of 2024 with a bang. India defeated Bangladesh in the first match of the two-match Test series being played under the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25. India defeated Bangladesh in the Chennai Test match by 280 runs. This is India’s biggest Test win over Bangladesh in terms of runs.
After this victory against Bangladesh, Team India has got a bumper advantage in the WTC points table, while Bangladesh has suffered a huge loss. Team India has won the 5th consecutive Test on home soil. Team India, captained by Rohit Sharma, was already at the top of the World Test Championship points table and now with this victory, the team has taken the lead.
Before this match, the Indian team was number one with 68.52 percent wins and is still number one, but the winning percentage has increased to 71.67. Australia is at number two with 62.50 percent wins. New Zealand is at number three with 50 percent winning percentage. A test match is being played between New Zealand and Sri Lanka.
