Former player Aakash Chopra is quite surprised to see why Kuldeep Yadav has not been included in the Indian team for the upcoming T20 series against Sri Lanka. Let us tell you, Kuldeep Yadav’s performance has always been very good in international cricket. He has bowled very well in T20 cricket as well and has won the hearts of many fans.

India now has to tour Sri Lanka which is starting from 27th July. The Indian team will first play a three-match T20 series against Sri Lanka and then a three-match ODI series. India has announced its team for both these series. Aakash Chopra has also raised the question as to why Rituraj Gaikwad and Yuzvendra Chahal have not been included in the Indian team for the entire tour.

Aakash Chopra shared a video on his official YouTube channel in which he said, ‘Kuldeep Yadav’s name is not in T20 cricket. This is really surprising because this player has recently won the World Cup and his name is not in the T20 team. Has something like this happened that we do not know about? He has been included in the ODI team but I have no idea why the brilliant spinner is not being played in T20.’

Aakash Chopra also gave his opinion on Rituraj Gaikwad and Yuzvendra Chahal

Aakash Chopra further said, ‘Yuzvendra Chahal’s name also comes to mind. He was also a part of the World Cup and now he is nowhere. Ravindra Jadeja is also not in the ODI team. What is happening? He has retired from the T20 team but an experienced all-rounder is available for ODIs. If Jadeja is available and still not playing, then I think the Indian team is going in some other direction.

Rituraj Gaikwad has also been dropped from both formats. What has Rituraj done that his name has not come up? 6 months ago he was a strong contender to become the captain of the Indian team in which Shubman Gill was not playing but now Gill has become the vice-captain and Rituraj is not even a part of the team.
