Former Indian team cricketer Ambati Rayudu will be seen playing for MI Emirates in the upcoming ILT20 season. This is the reason why he has decided to withdraw from Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP). Let us tell you, Ambati Rayudu has retired from his political career on January 6, just 8 days after joining this party.
Upon joining YSRCP, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy launched a 45-day sports festival. However, the former Indian cricketer, who resigned from the party, initially kept the reason for his decision unknown, saying that he was taking a break from politics and would soon reveal his future plans. On January 7, he revealed that he will be seen playing in the upcoming season of ILT20 and that is why he is taking a break from politics.
Ambati Rayudu wrote on his official social media account, ‘I Ambati Rayudu will represent MI Emirates team in the upcoming ILT20 starting from 20th January in Dubai. This is why I am taking a break from politics. I have informed everyone in the YSRCP party that I will stay out of politics for some time and will also inform them about my future plans.
Here is Ambati Rayudu’s tweet:
I Ambati Rayudu will be representing the Mumbai Indians in the upcoming ILt20 from jan 20th in Dubai. Which requires me to be politically non affiliated whilst playing professional sport.
