The KSCA XI tournament consisted mostly of Under-19 and Under-23 players. Arjun Tendulkar took 9 wickets for 87 runs in both innings of this match. In the first innings, he took 5 wickets for 41 runs, bowling out Karnataka for 103 runs in 36.5 overs. Goa then posted a strong score of 413 runs thanks to a century from Abhinav Tejarana (109) and 69 runs from Manthan Khutkar.

In the second innings, despite a slight improvement, KSCA XI were bowled out for 121 in 30.4 overs with Tendulkar taking 4 wickets for 46 runs. Arjun Tendulkar has played 49 competitive matches across formats at the senior level so far, in which he has 68 wickets to his name. In this, he has taken 21 wickets in 13 first-class matches.

Apart from showing his skills at the domestic level, the left-arm pacer has also got a chance in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Last year, the youngster made his debut for five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI). He played his first match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) but did not get any wicket there. He took his first wicket by dismissing Bhuvneshwar Kumar when MI played against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
