He did not like this attitude of the team players at all. According to Hafeez, when the players are playing for their country, they should know about every small thing. This is because the contribution of every player is very important.

Mohammad Hafeez revealed on this podcast that, ‘When I came to the dressing room, I saw that four to five players were sleeping during the test match. I was stunned to see this. How can a player do this? If a player does this, then he should not be in the team. According to me, all the players should focus on the game because it is very important for the team to win the match.’

The Pakistan team had a disappointing performance in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Pakistan had to face defeat against the USA while the team also failed to win the match against India. Even though Pakistan won against Ireland and Canada, they failed to make it to the Super 8.
