Team India had to face 0-3 defeat in the three-match Test series at home against New Zealand. After 24 years, a team has whitewashed India in their home Test series. The defeat against the Kiwis has changed many things for the Indian team.

Meanwhile, before the start of Australia tour, a big statement of Indian captain Rohit Sharma has come out. He said that playing in Australia will be different from other challenges, the players know their game and have their own mentality for every match.

Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel, Akash Deep, Prasidh Krishna, Harshit Rana and Nitish Kumar Reddy are playing for the first time in the Indian team for Australia tour. The Indian captain said that the atmosphere in the dressing room will be easy for the young players, because they will be playing in Australia for the first time.
