Sikandar Raza left Punjab Kings team: Bad news has come out after the spectacular victory of Punjab Kings over Kolkata Knight Riders. Star all-rounder Sikandar Raza has left IPL and returned to his country. Sikandar has posted a post saying that he has left the Punjab Kings team.

Sikandar gave information about leaving this season of IPL midway by tweeting on social media platform X in which he wrote that “Thank you India, IPL and I enjoyed every minute with Punjab Kings. Now is the time for national duty. We will definitely meet again.”

Zimbabwe team is going on Bangladesh tour

How has Sikandar Raza’s performance been in IPL 2024?

In the 17th season of IPL, Sikandar Raza got a chance to play only 2 matches for the Punjab team in which he scored a total of 43 runs at an average of 21.50. Whereas in bowling he has not taken even a single wicket.

Sikandar Raza made his debut in IPL in the year 2023 season, in which he played 7 matches. In these 7 matches, he scored 139 runs and during this time he also got a half-century innings with his bat. But this year Raza could not get a consistent opportunity in the team’s playing 11.

Punjab Kings got a great victory against KKR

In the 42nd match of IPL 2024, Punjab Kings defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 8 wickets. Batting first against Punjab Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders scored 261 runs on the board at the loss of 6 wickets. Punjab Kings chased the target with 8 balls remaining and won by 8 wickets.

Jonny Bairstow played an unbeaten inning of 108 runs in 48 balls with the help of 8 fours and 9 sixes. Prabhsimran Singh scored 54 runs in 20 balls, while Shashank Singh played an unbeaten inning of 68 runs in 28 balls with the help of 2 fours and 8 sixes.
