Bangladesh cricket team has faced a shameful defeat at home, meanwhile the ICC has given a big blow to team player Tauheed Hardoy.
Towhid Hridoy violated the ICC Code of Conduct in the third T20 match against Sri Lanka. ICC has imposed a heavy fine on Tauheed Hardoy and also given demerit points.
ICC fines Towhid Hridoy 15 percent of match fee
Towhid Hridoy behaved aggressively and inappropriately with the Sri Lankan players after being dismissed for a golden duck in the fourth over by Nuwan Thushara in the third T20 match against Sri Lanka. Tauheed Hardoy violated Article 2.20 of the ICC Code of Conduct with his action.
Which is related to conduct contrary to the spirit of the game. Tauheed Hardoy has been fined 15 percent of his match fee. Along with the fine, Tauheed Hardoy has also received one demerit point as this is the first time he has violated the rules in a period of 24 months.
Nuwan Thushara took a hat-trick in the third T20 match.
Talking about the third T20 match played between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, the Sri Lankan team, batting first, scored 174 runs on the board at the loss of 7 wickets. Kusal Mendis played a brilliant inning of 86 runs for the team. While chasing the target, Bangladesh team was all out for 146 runs in 19.4 overs.
