Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced its team for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. This tournament will be played in West Indies and USA from June 2. Many experienced and young players have been included in this team while Bangladesh cricket team will be captained by Nazmul Hasan Shanto.

There are also many experienced players in the team. Brilliant all-rounders Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah will also be seen playing in the upcoming tournament. Both of them have a lot of experience in T20 cricket. Not only this, Liton Das and Soumya Sarkar have also been included in the Bangladesh team.

Bangladesh Cricket Board is worried about the fitness of Taskin Ahmed

Bangladesh’s best fast bowler Taskin Ahmed has been injured during the series against Zimbabwe and the Bangladesh Cricket Board is very worried about his fitness. However, the medical team of Bangladesh is keeping a close watch on him. Everyone would like that Taskin Ahmed gets fit as soon as possible and performs well for Bangladesh in the upcoming tournament.

Apart from Taskin Ahmed, the team has included Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam and Tanzeem Hasan in the fast bowling lineup. Bangladesh is in Group D along with South Africa, Sri Lanka, Netherlands and Nepal. The team has to play its first match in the upcoming tournament against Sri Lanka on June 7. After this, Bangladesh will play a match against South Africa on June 10 in New York.

On June 13, Bangladesh team will play a match against Netherlands in St. Vincent while they have to play their last league match against Nepal on June 16 at the same venue. All the teams are fully prepared for the upcoming tournament.
