Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced the captain of all its three formats today i.e. on 12th February. Nazmul Hasan Shanto has been appointed the captain of all three formats of the Bangladesh team. This decision was taken by Bangladesh Cricket Board after the meeting.

The board appointed former captain Ghazi Ashraf Hussain as chief selector and former international cricketer Hannan Sarkar as selector. He replaced Minhajul Abedin and Habibul Bashar respectively. Let us tell you, in the unavailability of Shakib Al Hasan and other senior players, Nazmul Hasan Shanto captained the Bangladesh team in the ODI and T20 series played against New Zealand in 2023.
