At the time of writing this news, Pakistan has crossed the 300 run mark in its first innings.
At present, the first match of the three-match Test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh is being played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. In this match, the Pakistan team did not have a good start and they lost their three important wickets for just 16 runs. However, due to the important innings of Saud Shakeel, Pakistan is currently in a strong position.
However, on the second day of the first Test match, due to poor fielding by Bangladesh, Saud Shakeel completed four runs by running. This was seen in the 48th over of Pakistan’s innings. Nahid Rana bowled a full length ball to Saud Shakeel which the Pakistani batsman played towards mid-off. Shariful Islam, who was fielding at mid-off, dived but could not catch the ball properly. However, this reduced the speed of the ball.
The ball did not reach the boundary and the Bangladeshi fielder ran to catch the ball. Saud Shakeel also completed four runs in the meantime. Pakistan Cricket shared its video on its official social media account and wrote in its caption, ‘This is not seen again and again… and Saud Shakeel completed four runs.’

Apart from Saud Shakeel, Mohammad Rizwan has also batted very well and completed his century on the second day of the game. Both these batsmen have put pressure on Bangladesh. Talking about the first day of the game, opener Abdullah Shafiq scored only two runs in the first innings of the first Test while Shan Masood returned to the pavilion after scoring 6 runs.
Experienced batsman Babar Azam could not even open his account. Young batsman Sam Ayub batted very well for the host and played a valuable innings of 56 runs. Pakistan has crossed the 300-run mark in its first innings till the time of writing the news and they will look to score as many runs as possible in it. If Bangladesh has to make a comeback in the match, then they will have to take wickets at regular intervals from here.
