Even though Babar Azam is included in the list of top batsmen in T20 cricket, his batting in T20 format has always been a topic of discussion. Babar is often questioned about his strike rate and changing gears according to the match because he plays at a strike rate of 130-140. Misbah believes that Babar should be ready to bat at a strike rate of 160-170 or even 200 if the match situation demands.
This statement of the former captain came after Babar’s inning of 75 runs in 42 balls against Ireland in the recent T20 series decider. Under his captaincy, Pakistan won the series 2–1. Babar was the joint highest run scorer in this series with 132 runs at an average of 66 and strike rate of 150.

Potentially you have to put yourself at a level where you can reach a strike rate of 160-170 or 200. If my team needs 200 runs and I play with a strike rate of 130 while others play aggressively, then this should not happen. This will be an important thing for Babar Azam.
