BCCI removes toss from CK Nayudu Trophy
Talking about the changes in the domestic season, BCCI has proposed a new change for the CK Nayudu Trophy, in which the toss is being abolished. Instead of the toss in this tournament, the visiting team will have the privilege of batting or bowling first.
Regarding this, BCCI issued a press release saying, “The domestic season 2024-25 has been carefully planned, taking into account several factors to strengthen the core of domestic cricket while prioritizing the well-being of the players.”
Apart from this, the women’s domestic season will start with the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy on October 17. The knockout rounds will start from November 6. After this, the Senior Women’s T20 Challenger Trophy will be played from November 17 to November 27. The Senior Women’s ODI Trophy will be held from December 4 to 30 while the Multi Day Challenger Trophy will be played from March 18 to April 1.
