The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently released the annual contract list of players, in which the names of many prominent players have not been included. Some players have been promoted based on their performance, while some players have also been downgraded from their contracts.

One of the players to be promoted is Kuldeep Yadav, who has been upgraded from Grade C to Grade B by the BCCI. However, Kuldeep’s childhood coach Kapil Dev Pandey believes that considering the star spinner’s performances, he deserves a Grade A contract.

He should have got Grade A contract – Kapil Dev Pandey

Kapil Dev Pandey was quoted as saying by Inside Sports, Kuldeep is one of the best players in the world at the moment. He should have got a contract in Grade A. He has been performing consistently, but I am sure he will find his place soon.

Praising Kuldeep, the coach said that whatever opportunities he is getting at present, he is performing brilliantly. A few days ago I had talked to him and told him to maintain his morale. Don’t worry about anything and just focus on the game.

Let us tell you that Kuldeep Yadav has performed consistently in the last few years while representing the Indian team in all three formats. He has brought success to India with his clever bowling in many series including the World Cup. Despite his commendable contribution to the team’s success, he is in Grade B.
