The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has issued a big statement cracking down on misleading advertisements for admission to the National Cricket Academy (NCA). It is worth noting that recently some such advertisements were seen in which it was talked about getting admission in NCA by taking money.

However, now BCCI has completely rejected such advertisements by cracking down on such misleading advertisements. Also, Apex Cricket Board has said that admission in NCA is available only after merit based process. So the board does not charge any money for this.

BCCI issued a statement and clarified the picture

Let us tell you that after coming to the notice of such misleading and fraudulent advertisements, BCCI issued a press release on February 16, in which Secretary Jai Shah said – BCCI wants to clarify that it will not take any money from the cricketers for using its facility. Doesn’t take. BCCI has its own protocols and entry into the NCA is a merit-based process.

The NCA is open only to BCCI’s central contract players, targeted groups and cricketers sent by state cricket boards. Apart from this it is not open to any agency. Cricketers, coaches and the general public are advised to exercise caution and not fall victim to such fake and fraudulent posts and contact the respective state associations for guidance.

Also, let us tell you that through another press release, BCCI has informed about off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who has left the third Test match in Rajkot midway due to family emergency.

BCCI said- Due to family emergency, Ravichandran Ashwin has withdrawn his name from the Test team with immediate effect. BCCI and the team fully support Ashwin in this challenging time.
