Jai Shah has announced an incentive scheme.
Team India won the recently concluded Test series against England by 4-1. The fifth and final Test match of the series was played at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala, in which Rohit and company won by an innings and 64 runs. After the end of the fifth Test match, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Jai Shah made a big announcement.
BCCI Secretary has said that now players playing Test cricket will also get money in addition to the match fees. This incentive scheme has been announced by Jay Shah, which has been named Test Cricket Incentive Scheme. This decision is historical. Before today, such a decision had never been taken in Indian cricket. Everyone believes that this decision has been taken to expand Test cricket.
BCCI announces test cricket incentive
BCCI Secretary Jay Shah wrote in the post, “I am delighted to announce the launch of the ‘Test Cricket Incentive Scheme’ for India Men’s Test team players, which aims to provide financial growth and stability to our esteemed athletes . “Starting from the 2022-23 season, the ‘Test Cricket Incentive Scheme’ will serve as an additional reward structure on top of the existing match fee of Rs 15 lakh for Test matches.”

Jay Shah has told that players have Rs 15 lakh to play a test match, but players who play more than 75 percent of the matches in a season (in the playing eleven) will get Rs 45 lakh per match, while the team’s Participating members will get Rs 22.5 lakh per match.
At the same time, a player who plays 50 percent i.e. about 5 or 6 matches in the season will get Rs 30 lakh per match. At the same time, the player who is out of the playing eleven will get Rs 15 lakh per match. At the same time, if a player plays 50 percent of the matches (there are 9 Tests in the season and 4 or less of them are played) then he will not get any incentive. Only match fee will be Rs 15 lakh per match.
