Indian team’s best batsman Shikhar Dhawan has announced his retirement from international and domestic cricket on 24 August. Shikhar Dhawan played his last international match against Bangladesh in December 2022 and after that he is seen performing brilliantly only in the Indian Premier League. He played his last professional match for Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League 2024 and then he was out of this tournament after getting injured.
After announcing his retirement, Shikhar Dhawan has revealed that he will be fully available for any project that comes his way. He himself has confirmed that he wants to generate wealth not only for himself but for all those who will join him in different ventures. He also said that he is fully available for anything related to business, politics or entertainment.
According to News18, Shikhar Dhawan said, ‘My thinking is that I want to be successful and earn as much money as possible. I think not only for myself but also for all those who will join me in my ventures. Be it business or entertainment or politics, I am completely available for everyone.
Whatever God wants me to do, I will do it with full dedication. I know very well that whatever work I want to do, I will do it successfully because I have reached that level. My goal is to become successful myself and also keep the people who are with me happy.

Shikhar Dhawan further said, ‘Commentary is also an option. I am earning well from my ventures anyway but commentary is also an option. I want to do something new and big. I want to jump high and I have no fear of falling.’
