The Indian cricket team is going to tour Australia for a five-match Test series under the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in November this year. Team India had won 2-1 in both the previous Test series in Australia. Rohit Sharma and Co. now aim to win their third consecutive Test series on Australian soil.

Meanwhile, Glenn Maxwell has described India’s spin pair Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja as game changers. The all-rounder believes that if Australia faces these two players well then the team will be in a better position.

Glenn Maxwell said this about Ashwin and Jadeja

Glenn Maxwell while speaking on Star Sports said,

I think after playing against players like Ashwin and Jadeja for a long time, it feels like both of them are players we have faced consistently and our battles with them often determine the outcome of the game. If we play well against those two (Ashwin, Jadeja), we will generally find ourselves in a better position. Both of them have been with me for most of my career because they are almost the same age.

Ashwin and Jadeja have played a huge role in the previous India-Australia matches. Together they have taken 821 wickets in 330 innings, including 50 five-wicket hauls.

Maxwell gave this statement regarding Jasprit Bumrah

Speaking further, Glenn Maxwell praised Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah. At present, Bumrah is performing brilliantly in all three formats. He won the Player of the Tournament in the T20 World Cup 2024 by taking 15 wickets in 8 matches.

I was there in his (Jasprit Bumrah) first season of IPL in Mumbai in 2013 and faced him almost every day in the nets. It is an amazing story to see him go from being a young, untapped talent to possibly the best bowler across all three formats to what he is today.
