KL Rahul can play in the third test

Apart from this, the situation regarding Shami is also not promising. The fast bowler is currently in London and there is no information regarding the surgery on his ankle injury.
According to reports, the fast bowler is undergoing treatment with injections and is unlikely to feature in the remaining matches of the current series against England. Apart from these two, there is no information regarding Kohli’s availability. However, Cricbuzz report states that Virat Kohli is currently out of the country.
Rahul likely to play in the third test
A good news for India amid rising injury cases is that KL Rahul may be fit for the third Test. Rahul complained of pain in his right quadriceps during the first Test, after which he was ruled out of the second Test. BCCI has reportedly decided to rest KL Rahul as a precautionary measure.
Meanwhile, England has announced its playing eleven for the second test match, in which James Anderson has been included in place of Mark Wood. Shoaib Bashir will replace Jack Leach who was out due to injury.
