In this regard, a senior source of PCB has given a big statement to Geo News. According to Geo News, PCB may now be seen becoming very strict regarding the discipline of players. So, players will be closely monitored during live matches. Apart from this, even if the players are not playing the match, they will not be allowed to take a nap during the match hours.
Senior source of PCB told Geo News – Players have been given a strict warning and have been informed about this change. All this has been done following the guidelines of team director Mohammad Hafeez.
It is worth noting that earlier under the old management of PCB, if players were found sleeping during match hours, no fine was imposed on them. However, now after the new rules come into force, Pakistani players will not be able to do this.
