The first season of Pakistan’s List A domestic cricket tournament Champions One Day Cup is all set to begin from September 12. The final match of the tournament will be played on September 29. A total of five teams are participating in the first season, namely Wolves, Panthers, Dolphins, Stallions and Lions. All the matches between these teams will be played in Faisalabad.

So now some star players of Pakistan cricket team are going to be seen in action in the upcoming tournament. Also today on 6th September, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the names of the captains of the teams. The captain has been selected by the mentors of the teams. Let us tell you that in the upcoming tournament, former Misbah-ul-Haq will be seen mentoring the Wolves, Saqlain Mushtaq the Panthers, Sarfaraz Ahmed the Dolphins, Shoaib Malik the Stallions and Waqar Younis the Lions team.

Pakistan cricket team’s star wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan will be seen captaining the Wolves team, while Shadab Khan has been given the command of the Panthers team. Apart from this, Saud Shakeel will be seen captaining the Dolphins, Shaheen Shah Afridi the Lions and Mohammad Harris the Stallions team.
