According to reports, if Pakistan does not withdraw from hosting, then the tournament can be played in hybrid model. All India’s matches will be played in Dubai and if the team reaches the final then the match will be held in Dubai.

At the same time, if PCB refuses to host the Champions Trophy, then the entire tournament can be held in South Africa. Meanwhile, now another big news is coming out. According to Pakistan media, PCB has written a letter to ICC asking why India does not want to send its team to Pakistan.

Pakistan will not give up hosting under any circumstances

According to a media report, the source said, BCCI has not given any reason behind its decision of not touring Pakistan, so the next step of PCB to resolve this issue can be taken only after knowing them.

The source also said that, in the letter sent by the Pakistan Board to the ICC, it has been clearly stated that whether India plays in the tournament or not, Pakistan will not give up hosting the Champions Trophy under any circumstances.

India does not tour Pakistan due to security reasons. The team last toured Pakistan in 2008. Let us tell you that India had earlier refused to tour Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023, after which the hybrid model was adopted and the team played all the matches in Sri Lanka.

India and Pakistan will not be in the same group

According to Pakistani media reports, PCB will also talk to ICC about not keeping India and Pakistan in the same group in the Champions Trophy. Let us tell you, in the schedule that has already been prepared, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and New Zealand have been placed in Group-A.
