There are many matches which Cheteshwar Pujara has single-handedly won for Team India. Cheteshwar Pujara and Pooja got married on 13 February 2013. Cheteshwar Pujara met Pooja Pabdi for the first time at her uncle’s house. Both of them met as part of an arranged marriage and the Indian batsman fell in love with Pooja in the very first meeting.

Pooja is from Jamnagar, Gujarat and has graduated in Management. After completing her schooling from a private school in Mount Abu, Rajasthan, she did MBA and then worked as the head of HR in a multinational company in Mumbai.
