On October 8, a spectacular match was played between Nepal and Canada’s high-performance team in Kathmandu. During this match, a cricket commentator said something about the Nepali player during his commentary which left everyone shocked.

Regarding this matter, Cricket Canada has today, on October 12, apologized to the people of Nepal as well as the national cricket team through its social media account. Let us tell you that during the match being played between these two teams, a commentator tried to speak Hindi with a Nepali accent and said ‘Oh Saheb ji’ to the cricketer, referring to the security guard. Its video is also going viral on social media and many people have criticized the commentator.

However, Cricket Canada apologized and wrote on its official social media account, ‘We have taken strict action against those commentators. We want to apologize to everyone in front of everyone. This is not what Cricket Canada wants and whatever they said about the Nepalese player was very wrong. Such comments are made neither in sports nor in our state. This has caused problems to many people and we apologize for that.
