The second match of the three-match Test series between India and New Zealand is being played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. In this match, Rohit Sharma has made three changes in his playing XI. After seeing these changes, many cricket experts including fans are surprised. Rohit left out KL Rahul, Mohammed Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav and gave opportunity to Shubman Gill, Akash Deep and Washington Sundar.

Let us tell you that in batting, KL Rahul has been dropped, while in bowling, a spinner and a pacer have been swapped. Shubman Gill has returned in place of KL Rahul. Gill did not play in Bengaluru due to injury. At the same time, Sarfaraz got a chance in his place and he scored 150 runs. In such a situation, KL Rahul was dropped while keeping Sarfaraz Khan intact.

Apart from this, fast bowler Mohammad Siraj has been rested and Akash Deep has got a chance in his place. At the same time, among the spinners, Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav was dropped and in his place off-spinner Washington Sundar has been included in the playing eleven. Sundar can contribute with bowling as well as batting. Sanjay Manjrekar seemed happy with these changes.

Sanjay Manjrekar seemed happy with these changes. “Common sense selection,” he posted on X. The in-form fast bowler was included. When the pitch is giving a lot, you don’t need an artist bowler like Kuldeep, a tall, fast-bowling finger spinner can also do the trick.”

Border-Gavaskar Trophy series will be played in November Josh Hazlewood (Image Source: Getty Images) Cricket fans are eagerly waiting for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) Test series. It is noteworthy that in November, India will leave for Australia tour for this five-match series. There can be a tough competition between both the teams during this series. On the other hand, before the start of this series, a very worrying news is coming out from the Australian camp. Let us tell you that during this series, Josh Hazlewood, one of the trio of Australian fast bowlers, may miss playing some matches during this series. Josh Hazlewood gave a big statement Let us tell you that before the start of the Border-Gavaskar series, Josh Hazlewood said in a discussion with The Australian – We (Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood) played together last year, but it was probably only once. You have to take it as it comes. Because this is not T20 or ODI, you are going to bowl 4 or 10 overs. It is like in bowling you can sometimes bowl 25 or sometimes 50 overs. Therefore, there is no point in planning for it now. If you are fit to play then play and if not then don’t play. It’s as simple as that, no one rests in a Test match and if you are ready to go the day before, you play and if you are not, you sit. We’ve got a lot going on with the addition of some people who we know can do a really good job.
