The Indian team has made it to the finals of the ongoing Women’s Asia Cup T20 by defeating Bangladesh by 10 wickets in the first semi-final match. In this match played at the Ranggiri Stadium in Dabulla, once again the Indian bowlers performed brilliantly.

In front of India’s superb bowling, 8 Bangladeshi batsmen were out on single digit scores. Only captain Nigar Sultana could play the best innings of 32 runs in 51 balls for Bangladesh. Bangladesh set a target of 81 runs for India to win, which India achieved without losing any wicket.

Fast bowler Renuka Thakur destroyed Bangladesh’s top order in the powerplay itself. Renuka took three wickets for India in her three consecutive overs, which included a wicket on the fourth ball of the first over. However, after this, it was expected that Bangladesh would make a comeback, but this did not happen, because Radha Yadav broke the back of the opposing team by taking 3 wickets in the middle order.

On the other hand, after this amazing bowling performance of the Indian cricket team in the match, a big statement from captain Harmanpreet Kaur has come out. Harman says that consistency is very important for us.

A big statement of Harmanpreet Kaur came out

Let us tell you that after winning by 10 wickets against Bangladesh, Harman said during the post-match – Our bowlers did a great job. They did what we said in the team meeting. We are really proud of the way they are bowling.

There is a lot of pressure on us because we have dominated Asian cricket. Things are simple for us. We want to go out there and express ourselves. We prepare ourselves hard in the nets.

Harman further said- He (bowler) is coming with a positive attitude in every match. His way of thinking is giving me confidence. He is always there for the team and consistency is something that is very important for us.

So now the final match of the ongoing tournament will be played between the women’s cricket teams of India and Sri Lanka on July 28. It will be worth watching which team wins this match.
