Ravichandran Ashwin Has created history by taking the wicket of Jack Crawley on the second day of the third Test against England in Rajkot. He has become the second Indian bowler to take 500 wickets in Test cricket.

Apart from this, Ashwin is the first Indian and second bowler in the world to take the fastest 500 Test wickets. Sri Lanka’s Muttiah Muralitharan is the first bowler in the world to achieve this feat in 87 Test matches.

Ashwin received many good wishes and congratulations from the cricket world on this wonderful achievement. Apart from this, BCCI Secretary Jai Shah, Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, RP Singh and others congratulated him by tweeting.
