Zimbabwean cricketer Sikandar Raza has registered his name in history.
Indian tennis player Sumit Nagal has made a big upset by making it to the second round of men’s singles in the Australian Open. He became the first Indian male player since 2013 to reach the second round of singles. Apart from this, for the first time since 1989, an Indian player has defeated a seeded player in a singles match of the Australian Open.
After this historic victory of Sumit, many reactions have come from the cricket world on social media. The Australian team is currently ready to host the West Indies series in all three formats. The first match of the Test series between the two teams is to be played in Adelaide from January 17.
Karnataka’s young batsman Prakhar Chaturvedi also broke Yuvraj Singh’s 25-year-old record with his brilliant innings against Mumbai in the final of the Cooch Behar Trophy. He played an unprecedented unbeaten inning of 404 runs, destroying Yuvraj Singh’s previous record of 358 runs. On which Yuvraj Singh has now reacted and praised the batsman.
