1964: India won the exciting test match between India and Australia in Mumbai by two wickets. This was India’s second win over Australia in Tests. Chasing the target of 254 runs, India lost 6 wickets at the score of 122, then captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi (53) along with Vijay Manjrekar (39) and Chandu Borde (30) played some important innings to help India win. 1999: The match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka was tied in Sharjah during the 1999 Champions Trophy. Batting first, Pakistan scored 196 runs. Chasing the target, Sri Lanka was heading towards victory. They were at 172/2, needing just 25 runs to win with eight wickets left. But then they lost the last eight wickets for just 24 runs. Abdul Razzaq took 5/31 wickets.

2017: South Africa had their biggest win in ODIs on this day, when they defeated Bangladesh by ten wickets while chasing almost 300 runs. Bangladesh scored 278/7 in the first innings. Quinton de Kock (168) and Hashim Amla (110) scored unbeaten centuries to help their team win by 10 wickets. South Africa registered a record win by scoring 282/0 in 42.5 overs.
2021: Chennai Super Kings won their fourth Indian Premier League title by defeating Kolkata Knight Riders in the final of the 2021 season. Batting first, CSK scored 192/3, with Faf du Plessis scoring 86 runs off 59 balls. In reply, KKR openers Shubhman Gill (51) and Venkatesh Iyer (50) scored half-centuries and added 91 runs in 10.4 overs. But after that, they lost momentum and could only reach 165/9.
